Aswell as the acts there were the average naff rides and overpriced dodgy food stalls
I origionally went with Amy, Jenny and Emma and some other girl and her boyfriend, bumped into Dug and later on into Rachael Dean, Jodie Brookes, Sarah Finn and Nicola Whitmore so i had a bit of a catch up with them whilst Lemar was playing
The Saturdays
After all the acts had been on which none of them were particularly good (apart from the saturdays for obvious reasons) the Mayor came on stage and presssed the plunger for the lights and the much awaited fireworks which were actually dissapointing
The Rain that had started just as Lemar came on stage was now prety mad and the sheer number of people around town was crazy, not sure if there was any trouble but there were bare rudeboys with screwfaces hanging around aswell.
With the amount of Rain an People around town the drivers were going mad and buses were missing out busstops but eventually we made it home
Quite a let down of a night but the rain and mayhem made it kinda funny, a quite typical start to a British Christmas
