Bigger than Barry.

The day started with a stroll around town with a few of the team, with the main intentions being to pick up some n*e*r*d tickets for next week's gig, and do some research about tonight's event. After running into several people and hearing much hype, i left town and headed home with high hopes for the bigger than barry set.

Some myspace messaging commenced and i found that even more hype was being cast through the system. Tonight looked to be a huge event.

10:30pm came and 6 of us headed up town in two cars and parked up by colmore row, thinking that the event was being held somewhere on corporation st, at a place called ben johnson..?? We soon found this to be incorrect information, and combined with the POOR weather we jogged/quickly-walked back to the cars and headed down to the Rainbow in digbeth.

Things were looking lively; it seemed the hype was worthy. We parked-up and went inside. It was about 12 now, and i think it's fair to say that it was rammo in the main room, although some may not agree. Either way it was pretty full.

As usual 'Barry' dropped a good array of music and during his set covered most genres. The crowd were vibing and the atmosphere was good. Then BAM! the mixer broke. It looked to me that things were about to go bad but they soon had the place jumping again.

-I head some thoughts cast about that it made no difference considering his poor mixing anyway, but the tunes were there so things balanced nicely. no beef.

This was my first proper chance to try my new cam in a rave environment and i thought i got some good shots, there will be better to come though.
